Which format for a Minecraft tournament?

It depends on the trial: points-based FFA for minigames and UHC-style formats (each round scores points), direct elimination for 1v1 PvP, and groups + bracket for team events. Clutch handles all three natively.

How many players for a successful Minecraft event?

From 8 players for a PvP bracket to 40+ for a Kingdom-style server event. Beyond 20, plan a co-organizer for in-game moderation while the Clutch bracket tracks the scores.

How do I handle versions and servers?

Specify the version (Java or Bedrock), server IP and required mods in the tournament ruleset. The server address can be reserved for registered players — send it by email through online check-in.

Can I charge entry and offer a cash prize?

Yes. Set entry fees and prizes, then explain how players can pay you. You collect entry fees and pay prizes directly. An Event Pass at €19 or Pro at €49/month lets you publish a paid-entry tournament.

The Minecraft competitive scene

The competitive Minecraft scene is one of the most creative: arena PvP, speedruns, team events inspired by big community formats (Kingdom, UHC, Bedwars) on dedicated servers. The audience is young, engaged, and events fill up fast when announced well.

On Clutch, a Minecraft event takes minutes to set up: points-based FFA for multi-round trials, groups + bracket for PvP, solo or team registration, online check-in and a public bracket spectators follow live during the event.
