How does a points-based Fortnite tournament work?

Players play several games in a row (3 to 6 usually); each game awards points based on placement and eliminations. The cumulative total makes the final standing — that's Clutch's FFA format, with a configurable scale.

How many rounds should I play?

3 rounds minimum to smooth out variance (one bad game dooms no one), 5 to 6 for a serious event. Announce the number of games in the description so players block the right slot.

What points scale should I use?

A classic: 1 point per elimination, and a descending placement scale (for example 10 for the win, 7 for top 3, 5 for top 5, 3 for top 10). Clutch lets you define your own scale per tournament.

Can I run a paid Fortnite tournament?

Yes. Set entry fees and prizes, then explain how players can pay you. You collect entry fees and pay prizes directly. An Event Pass at €19 or Pro at €49/month lets you publish a paid-entry tournament.

This page lists community Fortnite events published on Clutch. It is not the official FNCS or Cash Cup calendar. Check the organizer’s rules, eligibility and access requirements before joining; consult Fortnite’s Compete tab for official competitions.

Clutch's FFA format is made for this: a customizable points scale (placement + kills), multiple rounds, a cumulative overall standing in real time and a prize pool split across the podium. Players track their position between each game.
